Mini Comp....

So the boys from shtchea.com decided to hold a contest at the Banff mini pipe today, it was a really good turn out....... good day

Winter is gone....... CAMPING!!

Winter finally left us here in our little town of Banff and Mr. Summer finally decided to poke his head out and take away the magical white stuff. Snow replaced with green as green can be meadows and super long days can only mean one this here in the Canadian Rockies........... CAMPING!!!!

So we packed up the VAN-Borghini and headed out into BC for a few days of HAZE!!!!


Multiple fires, a hand made tee pee, copious amounts of adult beverages and lots of great people...... there is something humbling about being out in the absolute middle of nowhere.......

.............good times.

ALL I DO IS WIN.....

Behind the Shot:-
This shot was taken at 6 am and it was about -25C, we had no sleds so Steve-O had to hike about 10 times to get this shot. Thanks Steve-O.

Chatting to Jon Chew today on the chair bout the shots of the last post, he requested to see a frame in particular. Hope this was the one you were talking about chew?!?!?

DEJU VU

Once again out and about pushing shutters and popping flashes, only this was take two of the same spot as three or four nights ago. This time Mr. Steve-O was available to throw down some tricks, the spot was so much fun even after my gear froze up and batteries went dead the boys still got greasy.....

Still Winter....

Winter is still in full effect here with no sign of stopping. I have been pretty lazy in the pixel capturing department but...... Over the last few days everyone has been keeping busy throwing their bodies down some awesome features in and around the bow valley.

I have be fortunate enough to be invited to point my lens at some of these spots, here's a taste......

Showdown Slideshow.

Ok, so I havent been on here for a while because I have been super busy trying to get enough shots to make into a 3-5 min slideshow for the shtchea.com Photography Showdown. So after a week or absolutely crazy weather I finally got some shots, I put it all together into the slideshow below.

Unfortunately it wasn't good enough to even place..... I got 4th (which still landed me a sick prize pack). So now after all the frost bit fingers and sleepless nights I can look back and say I had a really fun week. So here it is!!!

I just got the news that I made it into the top 6, which is awesome!!

Jib Jam Jump Off

Let's set the scene, 1 minivan, 5 guys, 7 snowboards, 4 cameras, 1 case of beer and some good spirits!!

On the weekend just past Gui, Steve-o and Chew got an invite to come and compete in an indoor Jib comp in Edmonton. So we all squeeze into my van and make the trip up north, although the road to Edmonton is boring being in the van with this particular group of characters definitely makes for an interesting drive mission.

This is just a sneak peak into the 2 day trip. A full video edit of the fun and games will appear on shtchea real soon, Enjoy.
